Pender’s Fabulous Journal of Random Stuff and Things!!!!

Friday, Hollywood got a lend of the car from her dad and came up to see pender at 3am friday Morning. By the word “see” I mean, see for about 5 seconds then go to sleep. Hollywood slept in so Pender went out with the guys from work for lunch at the skank (pizza hut). Hollywood was bored all day, so when Pender got off work they went to wally-world (walmart) and bought some kitty litter!!!!!!!! After that they went home and watched xena.

Saturday, Pender had to get his hair done at 2pm for the hair show but they called at 12 and said “oops, we meant to call you and tell you your time was changed, can you get here now?” So Pender went right to the hair place and got all purdied up for Hollywood. Hollywood went home and read for a while then came back and sat in the car reading while Pender got purdified (for 4.5 hours, it took a long time to make him purdy). They then went to sobes and bought some food.

Sunday, Pender had to go to the colliseum at 7am for the hair show and gave $20 to Hollywood to get in. Hollywood tried to get in at 9am but it cost FIFTY BUCKS to get in, so she didn’t pay it. So Hollywood went home and was bored all day while Pender was on stage showing off his new dew. Hollywood eventually got in at 4pm because they let her in free, so she got to see Pender on stage for a bit at least. After the show they went for a drive to show Hollywood the correct way to get to my apartment from the highway (so she doesn’t end up in Riverview… again). That night they watched Kung Pow (because Hollywood had gotten a different dvd from blockbuster) and rented Day After Tomorrow (good movie!).

Monday, Hollywood packed up her stuff and Pender dropped her off at the colliseum to pick up her car (since she left it there overnight) and drove home. Pender then went back to the hairshow for another day of showing off his sexiness.

All in all it was a very very… very boring weekend for Hollywood and Pender feels really really bad. :(

Friday, Pender went to Saint John in the car to meet Hollywood at her place. they went over to Mommywood’s place so that Hollywood could borrow her treadmill. It was “fun times” getting the treadmill out of Mommywood’s place, but not so bad dragging it into Hollywood’s place. After that went to blockbuster and got blockbusted with piles of great movies! They rented swordfish, final destination 2, fight club and kung pow. They also went to sobeys to buy some very specific items but because they were hungry, left with about $30 in stuff. They went home and watched final destination 2, which wasn’t as final as they’d lead you to believe 2!

Saturday, they woke up late, ate some breakfast then dropped Hollywood off at work. Pender sat around playing games again all day, as usual, being lazy! After work they came back home where Hollywood made a delightful stir-fry! Pender tried to watch kung pow but after only 3 scenes the DVD screwed up. Upon closer inspection the DVD was severely scratched, so they better get money back for that DVD.. OR ELSE! *shakes fist* After the failed attempt at kung pow they were invited to go to the 3mile, so they went and had a good time.

Sunday, they met Mommywood for lunch at East Side Marios (cause they only woke up in time for lunch). After East Side they went to Old Navy and returned a couple of sweaters Hollywood wanted to return, and Pender bought a new glow in the dark frisbee! They never actually tried the frisbee out other than across the store, but they assume it works. After that they went to Pier 1 to look around, it vas intervestink.. Velly velly intervestink. They went home and napped for the rest of the afternoon then woke up at 4:00 all freaked out because they had to drive to Moncton for 7 when Just for Laughs was starting! They made it in time and the show was great! Though the seats were sort of.. uh… the worst seats in the house, it was good just the same! After the show they came back to Pender’s place and watched Fight Club. Wicked movie!

Monday, Pender went to work but he was feeling *COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH* kinda sick, so he took the afternoon off and drove Hollywood all the way back home to Saint John. (awwwww) He picked up his suit (for the hair extravaganza the following weekend) and dropped Hollywood off at her dad’s place so she could pick up the car and go to work.

Thursday (sorta), this weekend really started on Thursday because Hollywood came up to Moncton at 3am after work and snuck into Pender’s apartment. The next day she picked up her sister (Ammo Chick) at the airport at noon, then they all went for lunch at the Lonestar and shared a pound of fajitas. Then Hollywood had to speed back to Saint John to go to work, while Pender lazilly drove for a few minutes then arrived at work.

Friday, Pender left work early… again!! yeee!! (the network was down, it was actually a halfway legitimate reason for his leaving work early this time!! Honest!!!). He arrived at Saint John at about 2pm or so. Pender relaxed and recovered for a bit (because he brought the bike again) then they went for a walk in Rockwood Park. They attempted to play some aerobee (which Hollywood’s mom, Mommywood, bought for Pender last week, which Pender forgot to mention in last week’s writing, like the buffoon he is, so he’s trying to make up for it now with this huuuuuge run-on sentence) but it was soooo windy and Pender sucked sooooo much, he threw it into a pond then threw it into a tree. That evening they joined Mommywood, Cathy (Mommywood’s friend, who for some reason doesn’t have an alias as of this writing) and Ammo Chick at the Phoenix Dinner Theatre. It was fun and the food was also… fun. It was basically a play done by people to be pretending to be western hicks within a maritime context. During the meal Hollywood mentioned to Cathy, a hair dresser/redken rep, got to talking about how Pender needs to get a haircut. Cathy brought up the idea of Pender becoming a tech model (they would cut his hair on a stage for everyone to laugh at him) for a hair show coming up in moncton later this month. Everyone is super excited for him!! Pender…um… not so much (though as of this writing he’s met with the Moncton rep and she wanted to use him as a presentation model, aka runway model-type, and he said “yes,” but just to clarify, he’s NOT gay). So Hollywood is super excited for him!!

Saturday, Hollywood had to work so Pender sat around all day playing video games while diligently neglecting the dishes. When Hollywood came home she did the dishes and Pender made supper to make more dirty dishes. They then sat around watching Adams Family movies on tv.

Sunday, Hollywood woke up at 5am in the morning to start making the turkey for supper that night. Then went back to bed. Then woke up several hours later. Then went back to bed again. This continued until about 9:30 when Mommywood called and invited them both out for Breakfast at the Iving. Pender slept through all the basting, but managed to wake up to eat about 4lbs of breakfast. When they got back it was Pender’s turn to start basting the turkey. He became so good at it he was given the title of Master-Baster. So after 9.5 hours of cooking Pender convinced Hollywood that the turkey would dry out soon so they took it out and sent it over to Mommywood’s to be prepared. Unfortunatly the turkey still wasn’t done!! So it was cooked for a little while longer before all the guests showed up a Lorna’s house… Hollywood’s aunt. Pender is no longer allowed to ever decide when food is cooked. The meal was great and there were 7 pies for dessert. After the food a few people got together for a game of “Carrie-Amyum” also know as Cranium. The kids team cheated to whole time so Pender and Hollywood’s team lost against 5 and 8yr olds. They had enough of the cheaters so they left and went to the movie theatre to see Shark Tale.

Monday, they woke up late.. sat around… did nothing… Watched tv.. Ate omlette.. Hollywood went to work and Pender had to drive the bike home in the rain. Pender didn’t have a rain suit so the silly bastard near froze to death on the way home.

Friday, Pender left work early (SNUCK OUT! DON’T TELL ANYONE! SHHHHHHHHHH!.. maybe I shouldn’t have type-yelled that so loud just now..) and rode the bike to Saint John to see his beloved Hollywood. That evening they went to Irving Nature Park to take a quick walk on the boardwalk to enjoy the setting sun. They then rented Walking Tall staring the ROCK, a movie about a man and his wood (don’t ask). They only watched about half of it when Hollywood’s friends (Jersey, Philli, and Brooklyn) decided to invite them out to the 3mile. Hollywood was already feeling pretty good from the wine they had been sharing so she had some more at the bar, then was feeling grrrrrrrreat like Frosted Flakes! Maybe too great because she forgot she had to work the next day. Everyone had a very good time at the bar, especially Pender cause he got to make fun of his drunken, staggering, girlfriend. They finished watching the movie and they were happy for it because it tied up all the loose ends except a million or so.

Saturday, Hollywood woke up hung over but still went to work feeling like crap. Yeah, she’s tough!! Pender drove her to work then went back to the apartment to sleep and laze away the day. They met for lunch and went to Tim Hortons for coffee where they encountered a very odd girl whom they could only assume was from the future and was sent back to annoy. She ran up to Hollywood and Pender as if they were old drinking buddies from primary school and regaled them with joyous tales of how she had won a trip to the domenican republic on the radio that morning, and would not shut up about it. I mean, there’s only so much you can say on the topic before it’s almost instantly beaten to death, but she managed to stand there for at least 10 minutes, coming up with NEW and EXCITING ways to say the same thing. Eventually her robotic proximity sensors detected the presence of other humanoids within one-hundred meters who were unaware of her win, so she ran over to tell them the exciting news. Hollywood and Pender quickly equipped their protective motor cycle clothing, hopped on the bike and sped away while she was busy destroying other humans. When they drove by her head spun around backwards and her face hissed.
That evening they just had a quiet evening at home where Pender discovered that Hollywood’s eyes can make noises.

Sunday, they borrowed Hollywood’s mum’s car and her dog (Gabby) and went for a long walk in the Irving Nature Park. Gabby loved it. She even got to go for a swim in the ocean and did some rock climbing. Actually she ran away and fell down a cliff and then jumped in the water and couldn’t find a way out for about 5 min, BAD DOG!! So they finished their walk then took the wet stinky dog back to Hollywood’s Mum to deal with. Then they went to the mall and Hollywood bought some new gloves and Pender bought a new bookbag. Gosh it’s nice to be freakin’ rich!! Then they stopped at Blockbuster again and rented Envy… an ok movie starring Jack Black and Ben Stiller that had nothing to do with Envy and EVERYTHING to do with horse killing.
