Pender’s Fabulous Journal of Random Stuff and Things!!!!

Seeing as how there are HUUUGE gaps in our adventures, here’s a lame attempt at summarizing what’s happend since we moved.

Pender moved into the new place December 1, Hollywood moved in when she quit Cendant on about December 17th. After that they flew to Newfoundland to spend xmas with Pender’s relatives. They stayed at Pender’s parents’ place. It was fun. On December 26th they flew back to Moncton, Hollywood went right to Saint John, Pender stayed behind for some reason, then a snowstorm came so he played video games for a day waiting to go to Saint John. A day later he went there and they hung out with Hollywood’s relatives. After that they went home only to go back to Saint John on New Year’s Eve to ring in the new years with her cousin.

Since that time they’ve been low-key, not doing much. Renting movies every once in a while, going for walks in the park or down the road. Nothing expensive (trying to recover from xmas!).

Yesterday was their 6 monthaversary! Yay! To celebrate they rented a couple of movies and went to Fisherman’s Paradise for supper. It was insanely good, but also insanely expensive. Good thing 6 monthaversaries only come once every infinity years!

Hollywood’s first car accident! Yay! Never fear, she’s A-ok!

Hollywood recently got a job at asurion (a call center right outside Pender’s work) and woke up early to drive him to work so that she would have the car in the afternoon to drive to work. It was freezing cold out and right after a storm the day before, so the roads were slick. When Hollywood was driving home she hit an icy patch on a bridge and lost control, crashing into the concret side wall on the left then bouncing across the road and hit the metal guardrail on the right. Hollywood’s neck was hurt from the seatbelt and she had an achy neck that night, but other than that she was fine. The front bumper cover (of the car) was completely ripped off (it actually fell off in about 4 pieces but the rest of the traffic ran over it, smashing it to bits, but nobody stopped so it may have damaged their cars but we got away with it since they didn’t even bother to stop). A woman stopped and let Hollywood use her cell phone, Hollywood called Pender who got SCaRTHuMBS (aka, j0dy) to drive him to the location where she was and gave her a great big hug and everything was allllllllll better! The police arrived and a statement was given. The car was determined to be drivable at that point, since it was just the front bumper cover.

Pender took the rest of the day off (but plans to charge normal time as if he worked, cause he’s a bad employee). He drove the mustang and SCaRTHuMBS drove Hollywood in his car. They went to Taylor Ford who told them to go to the Ford Collision Center across town. While they were there they called the insurance company who took down the information and promised to get an adjuster on the case or something. The estimate for the damage to the car was $3926. The rest of the day was a combination of sitting around, playing video games and dealing with insurance calls and stuff.

So now they’re waiting for the car to be repaired and to see how much their insurance will go up.

Sorry, no pictures of the car without its bumper, they didn’t have time to go home and collect the camera since one of the cops was following them to Taylor Ford and SCaRTHuMBS had to go back to work, like a sucker. Thanks for the help, sucker!

Free xmas fonts! I’ve always had a fascination with fonts, for some reason. Though I only used Fixedsys for almost everything.. Yay.

I finally got this puter back up and running. It died after the last post because of an aparent power source issue. The puter’s been up for 12 hours now, so hopefully it’ll stay up this time!
