Peggy’s Cove
A month ago or so we took a motorcycle ride over to Peggy’s Cove. It’s about a 40 minute ride from our house, a pretty nice ride. The roads are mostly country roads and winding in a lot of places so the actual ride was pleasant.
The day we went was BOILING hot, when we got off the bike we were instantly sweating, so we actually didn’t stay longer than maybe 30-40 minutes, it was just too hot. We even ate icecream within that time but had to chomp it down fast so it didn’t melt.
Peggy’s cove is sort of a strange place, it reminds me a lot of newfoundland with its rocks. It was surprising to see it since it doesn’t look like the rest of the land at all, with giant rocks protruding the ground in giant stairs in places, and really smooth rolling hill-like in other areas. Was neat to see. We also saw the carved stone of the fishermen as we were leaving but didn’t stop to take a picture or check it out closely. We’ll go back again someday, probably.
